View From the Office….

Gotta love travelling.

Different outlook = different outlook!

I don’t think I want to leave this place 🙂

  1. Have been following your travels. It doesn’t surprise me that you don’t want to leave. It all sounds very exciting, inspiring and thought provoking and the scenery is pretty impressive also.

  2. Hey Vanessa!
I’ve been really slow getting the posts up – Edublogs have been really slow and painful for quite a while. Had to become a supporter and pay for all my blogs!
Its been really interesting so far, and I think tomorrow will be the best as we are attending an all day session that a guru called Tim Rylands is doing with kids from Primary schools, High schools and then teachers after school.
He works with literacy and creativity and uses the game Myst to support writing. Can’t wait 🙂

  3. Hi Kim. I’m very envious of your trip – you must be full of enthusiasm & great ideas for when you get back. I follow Tim’s blog and get lots from it. Enjoy!

  4. Hi Kim,
What a fantastic trip you’ve had! Am so envious that you got to meet with the Adventure Author team again and also the fantastic, Tim Rylands:) I read a bit about your exploits on Tim’s blog, also. If you get the chance, I’d love to hear more of your/Gail’s thoughts about using Myst for developing literacy, as I’m about to start using it with a small group of Year 5 students this year.

  5. Hi ladies – thanks for your comments.
My day with Tim was amazing – I learnt so much from watching this Quality teacher working his magic.
Am having some difficulties with internet connections at hotel, but have a post to go up asap!
@Judy – look forward to discussing both AA and MYST with you when I get back.
Enjoy your start back to school 😉
